Accumed Revenue Systems, is a Texas corporation located in The Woodlands, Texas. Accumed has been providing high quality medical billing services for all medcial specialties for 35 years and was founded by brothers Scott and Steve Wolford.

Steve Wolford
President and Chief Executive Officer
Steve has 46 years of successful experience in sales, marketing, finance, administrative and management. This includes experience with Fortune 500 companies as well as small private companies. During the past 34 years, Steve has focused on services related to the health care field.
Steve is a Past President and board member of The Rotary Club of The Woodlands and a recipient of the prestigious Rotary Paul Harris Award. Other affiliations include LSU Alumni Association, Fellowship of The Woodlands, LINKS of Montgomery County and South Montgomery Chamber of Commerce.
Steve is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a BS in Marketing and Management and an MBA degree in Finance. Steve is listed in the National Register’s Who’s Who in executives and professionals. Steve currently resides in The Woodlands, Texas and his wife of 46 years, Amy. They have a grown son, a married daughter, a granddaughter and two grandsons. Steve enjoys golf, fishing and travel.

With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Chris has been instrumental in optimizing billing workflows, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving operational efficiencies that maximize revenue for healthcare providers.
In their role, Chris oversees day-to-day operations, leading cross-functional teams responsible for claims processing, payer negotiations, client relations, and technology integration. Their leadership ensures that the company maintains seamless revenue cycle management, minimizes denials, and delivers exceptional service to healthcare organizations ranging from small practices to large hospital systems.
A strategic thinker and results-driven executive, Chris has a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions to streamline medical billing, improve cash flow, and enhance client satisfaction. They are deeply committed to compliance and regulatory adherence, staying ahead of industry changes in HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and insurance billing requirements.
